MCS Accredited Installers In East Anglia
Being Micro-Generation Certification Scheme (MCS) accredited installers, not only are you guaranteed to have a professional installation carried out by registered and correctly qualified engineers, but also your installation will qualify towards a RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) grant. The RHI is a government funded incentive, aimed at consumers, to give an incentive to install renewable heating products, instead of fossil fuel common alternatives. As a company we are accredited in Air Source, Ground Source and Solar Thermal. This government based incentive is calculated on kw output of the heat source, for instance there is a great possibility of a consumer being paid over £20,000 during the term of the grant for a heat pump installation. There can be more information found at the RHI link to the left.
Environment 2020 National Installation Award Winner
D Ripken Plumbing And Heating have just been awarded the prestigiously acclaimed Environment 2020 National Installation Award, which is awarded by the heating manufacturer, Worcester Bosch. This award is in recognition for carrying out an installation that is sympathetic to the environment. The property which is pictured above to the right, had installed a Worcester Bosch 9.5KW Air to Water Heat Pump, which comfortably heats the property via an underfloor heating system on both floors and also supplies the property with a mains pressured hot water system. The property also had rain water harvesting system installed, which collects rain water, filters the grey water and pumps it to the toilets, washing machine and outside tap. Thus reducing the use of the metered mains water supply.
